Everyone has limiting beliefs about certain aspects of themselves, and sometimes as leaders it’s important to realize that a lack of confidence is just a fleeting moment in our view of ourselves.
Life is a series of little shifts and movements, and the real change happens when we stop judging ourselves in our moment-to-moment realities.
Do not allow a small crisis of confidence to become part of your long-term reality. Do not retreat, remove, or resist. When we react to crisis with control, we are not allowing ourselves to learn from our struggle.
Instead, remember to unleash the confidence within:
Focus on your strength. Concentrate on your core qualities and build on your strengths instead of lingering on perceived flaws.
Keep your talk positive. The more you remind yourself of the positive attributes of your character, the more you keep your talk with others grounded in the same positivity and strength, the more you will begin to believe it.
Show How. Know how. . Act confident even when you feel the opposite. If you know that you can look like a confident, capable person, eventually you’ll start to feel it, too.
Lower the volume. Remember that you don’t have to be loud to be confident. Walk with grace and gratitude. Be humble. These are traits of the highest levels of confidence.
Respect the power of intention. Words and ideas have more power than we realize. Don’t say anything about yourself that you wouldn’t want to come true.
Hold yourself beyond compare. No one else is like you, and no one else is living your life, so comparisons are pointless—and they can be damaging. Make a commitment to never compare yourself to others.
Remember that life is a journey. We all have good days and bad days, days when we feel confident and days when we don’t. When you’re struggling, take a deep breath, go step by step, and let the knowledge that it’s all part of the journey give you the confidence to keep going.
You achieve character, courage, and confidence every time you overcome the mindset that is led by fear.
Be the person who does things you think you cannot do, and allow both the light and the dark to shape you as a leader.
Lead From Within: Lack of confidence happens when we isolate ourselves from our own compassion and courage. Unleash the confidence from within and lead with heart.

I love this sentence: “Be the person who does things you think you cannot do”
Great advice, not only for aspiring leaders, but for anyone who is struggling with self-confidence or having a hard time!
